The bus stop is practically right outside, and the ride is free with a guest card. The village is a pleasant ten-minute walk away. At Ultenerhof, we had a quiet room with a large balcony looking out over the heated pool and a fantastic view. They even left a pool bag with refreshments in the room. Breakfast had a superb selection of breads, and dinner was a delicious three-course meal with a salad buffet on the terrace when the weather allowed. The owner greets you with a handshake and always seems cheerful, giving the place a very personal feel. Excellent value for money, free parking outside or in the underground garage, and our thanks to the family. Highly recommended.

We've stayed at the Ultenerhof twice, both times in July, and would happily return. The area is peaceful and uncrowded, with enough nature and activities to fill three weeks. The views were fantastic, our suite was very clean, and Heidi was attentive throughout. Service was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the e-bikes we rented were good and reasonably priced. The weather was perfect every day except for half a day of rain. The value for money is excellent.

The garden, pool, view of Merano, and excellent underground garage all make the Ultenerhof a joy to stay in. It's spotless everywhere, the food is delicious, and the service is friendly. Heidi is such a charming hostess, and there's so much care in the details. If anything comes up, they find a solution right away. We stayed last year and are coming back in two weeks. We can't wait to see her again. Last May was often quite chilly, so we were very grateful that the heating worked. That's not always a given. A big THANK YOU!!!
