The only real positives were the view, the nearby center, the garage for the car, and Alessandro, who was nice and helpful. The center is about 200 steps away. I first gave it one star, but changed my review for these reasons. Still, this guesthouse is misleading: it has the same name as Laigueglia's most renowned and elegant hotel, and even used Booking photos that weren't theirs. You end up in a private residence. Our room was meant to be ready by 2:30 PM, but was still being cleaned at 5:30 PM.

The rooms and amenities were excellent, and I really enjoyed my stay. Staff were always courteous and knowledgeable. Sofia at reception especially stood out, ready to handle any request and always smiling. I'll be back.

The room was acceptable, but everything else was poor for a 1-star B&B. The panoramic location was inconvenient for getting to the sea and elsewhere. Check-in wasn't handled very correctly, and they hadn't sent the address or instructions for finding the room, so we had to turn up and wait. Thanks to Alessandro, the owner gave us a parking spot, otherwise we'd have been in trouble.

The place was pleasant and the table service kind, but not very organized. The first course was poor, while the tuna main course was good. The Prosecco came before the main courses, so it was warm by the time we drank it. The bill was excessive!
