The owner was so helpful and friendly, which made a great first stay in Ortisei for me. The quiet setting has lovely scenery, especially at night, and the bus gets you to Val Gardena in about 10 minutes. I’d recommend the hotel and the campervan camping site.

I was there for four days in late July. The room had plenty of space and a balcony, and it was cleaned daily. Breakfast came with the stay and offered lots of choices. There was free parking right outside, and the reception and restaurant staff were exceptionally warm and friendly.

The meals were a highlight: breakfast was plentiful and tasty, and dinner at the restaurant came in generous portions after the staff gave us recommendations. Albergo Pontives is also in a lovely spot, just a few minutes from Ortisei while still feeling peaceful. The owners were kind and very welcoming.

The shuttle to the ski pistes was really nice, and the service was good. The room was just okay, though, and dinner especially wasn't the best.
