This farm stay is a different experience from a hotel. It’s very quiet, there’s free parking, and the apartment stays warm in winter. Chickens, ducks, and cows are around, and there’s an outdoor seating area with a mountain view. Breakfast can be brought to the apartment for 10€ per person. The bus stop is close, and the host can give you a ticket for free bus travel, but check the timetable because service is limited. For example, buses to Ortisei run only once an hour. Payment is by bank transfer only for the booking, not through Booking, with the rest paid in cash on arrival. A few things to know: it gets very dark at night, so if you arrive by bus after sunset you’ll need your phone flashlight to see the road. There’s nothing nearby to reach on foot, and there’s no washing machine in the apartment. The restaurant was closed during the last week of February.

We got there before opening time, unfortunately, so we couldn’t try the kitchen or its food. Still, the place is fantastic, with magnificent views and an unbelievable vibe.

A great place to stay in South Tyrol, with a very clean, well-organized apartment that’s good for families. There’s one large bedroom, a kitchen, and a dining area. The owner is very nice, and the view is great. It’s near the Gardana valley, about a 15-minute drive to Ortiz.

We had a lovely few days and nights in the apartment they rent to travelers. The swimming pool is great, too.
