Balata Bianca

We were looked after from the first day to the last. The rooms have super comfortable mattresses, bathroom amenities, and are exceptionally clean. Breakfast was excellent, too. The location is great, just steps from everything. Thanks to Mr. Franco, Giorgia, and Vera for being so kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

Having beach towels and umbrellas available each day, complimentary bottled water, and coffee and pastries in the afternoon was a real bonus. The rooms are comfortable, and breakfast on the sea-view terrace is lovely. The owners were kind, too. This beautiful B&B is in the heart of Lampedusa, with services well above what I'd expect from a standard 3-star hotel. You can walk to the town center, but you'll need to rent a vehicle to explore the coves. Lampedusa is enchanting, and staying in the right place makes it all more special. During our 12 days there, we had a luggage problem when our bags didn't arrive, and Teresa and Franco made every comfort available to us. They were hospitable, helpful, and genuinely kind, and made Balata Bianca feel like home. The rooms were beautiful and clean, thanks to Vera, and Giorgia served sweet and savory breakfast on the terrace with such kindness. Umbrellas, towels, and fresh water in the room were complimentary. The B&B is a short walk from both the center and the port, so it's convenient for getting around. My boyfriend and I chose Balata Bianca after reading several reviews, and we couldn't have made a better choice. Highly recommend, and we'll definitely return on our next Lampedusa holiday. Franco and Teresa made us feel at home and looked after, as if we'd known each other forever. The staff were friendly and knew their stuff, thank you Giorgia and Vera. The new, elegant property is kept in meticulous condition and very close to the town center. Rooms and shared spaces were spotless, the beds comfortable, the shower spectacular with chromotherapy, and the finishes luxurious. They provide beach towels, umbrellas, a professional hairdryer, and a minibar replenished with fresh water every day. Breakfast on the well-kept terrace was lovely.
