We booked a tent pitch for 5 days in august 2021. The place had a friendly atmosphere, plenty of showers and toilets, and private access to a lovely little beach called cala greca. Summer was a tough time to stay. It was very humid and scorching hot, and there were flies and Mosquitoes, which made sleeping intolerable. We had two major problems. When I booked, I was told electricity would be available for 5 euros, but on arrival they said it wasn't available to us. That was a huge disappointment. I had emailed the reservation in English, and on our first day at the campsite a British Italian woman told us it hadn't been processed because it was in English. That was offensive.

The cabins are rustic and cozy, surrounded by Lampedusa's powerful natural setting. The sea has thousands of different shades, and you have to see it to believe it. Andrea, Angelo, and Carla made our stay memorable. I'll definitely return to Camping La Roccia to see my new friends again. Hugs, guys, see you soon. 🙋🏻♂️🤗

The two-person rooms are very small, but have everything necessary. The campsite is good, and the restaurant is very good for both its prices and its dishes, which are all made with fresh fish caught daily. I'd recommend it, with some reservations.

The campsite was clean, and there were plenty of shady spots. It was handy having a minimarket right there, and the people were great. Getting into the city center was easy too.
