The rooms were very clean, and the location was excellent, but I’d call the hotel average. Breakfast was adequate, though we missed Sicilian treats like cannoli and brioches. My partner and I skipped breakfast twice in one week to get excellent pistachio brioches at nearby bars. The owner asked why we hadn’t eaten at the hotel for two days running; when we explained, he said he’d get the brioches we wanted for the following days. At checkout there was no bathroom in the lobby. Since our flight was at 4:00 PM, they gave us a room where a receptionist was staying so we could shower, and charged €20.00, or €10.00 per person. A shame!

The rooms are few, so the atmosphere at Hotel Sirio feels family-like, and it’s very close to Guitcia beach. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the breakfast is excellent, and the restaurant has been beautifully renovated. Thanks to all the staff, especially Sara, who looked after us from breakfast on the first morning through all our requests. We’ll be back.

The port is easy to reach via a flight of steps, and there’s a bus stop just steps away. The hotel is also well located near Giutgia beach. We loved the delicious, plentiful breakfast, and the rooms and shared spaces are tastefully furnished and meticulously clean. The owner and staff are welcoming and friendly. Giuseppe was professional and kind with guests, and breakfast featuring typical local products was excellent. The hotel is very clean and close to Guitigia beach, one of Lampedusa’s most beautiful, which is easy to reach on foot. Highly recommended.
