The shuttle service run by the site made it easy to visit local attractions and take the train to Florence, Rome, and elsewhere. Michaela at reception deserves a special mention. Her local knowledge is second to none, and she made our stay more special. A real credit to the company. There's also a handy shop with good morning bread. The toilets, showers, and pool areas were spotless. Even the recycling area had a sanitation facility, which showed the effort the site puts in. The location is great, and the restaurant menu looked reasonably priced, though we didn't eat there. There were significant road works in June 2025, unrelated to the site. They're worth considering because the hairpin bend is difficult when towing, but you can navigate around it. Well done, a great site worthy of 5/5. Thank you.

Bikers, this place is friendly for you. As of July 2025, a tent, a bicycle, and one person cost 16€, which is a very attractive price. There's lots of space and everything you need, including two pools and a Gelateria. There isn't much biodiversity, though. You might feel alone if you're not Dutch 😃. The staff are young and very friendly. Recommended even for a short stay.

The restaurant food is great, the pool complex is amazing, and the staff are super friendly. The pitches are a good size, and the sanitary facilities are always clean, though one block's showers could use replacement nozzles. I'd give 5 stars if it weren't for the price, specifically the €8 per night charge for dogs. That's excessive, especially since there are no special features for them.

In summer 2022, our family of 4 camped at Barco Reale. It was quiet and peaceful at our tent, and the toilets were very clean. Down below there was a restaurant, bar, and entertainment for families. The staff were nice enough, and the views of nearby towns from the pool were amazing. The only issue was the internet connection. Some staff wouldn't acknowledge there was a connection problem. I'd visit again soon :)

The swimming pool and its view were beautiful, and the restaurant was good. The staff were nice and very helpful, with good tips, and the shuttle bus came in handy. We had the second-smallest pitch, but it was still large enough for our tent and car. The sanitary block was okay, everything worked. A great campsite overall!
