Verena and Christian welcomed us so warmly. Staying with them felt more like being with family than checking into a hotel.

Really friendly husband-and-wife team, and we enjoyed the dinner.

The garden and pool are lovely places to spend time, and the hotel has a big sauna area plus a fitness room for rainy days. It's a small place in Lana, but very well managed. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed. Breakfast was generous, with lots of fresh options, and dinner, prepared by the owner, was varied and delicious. The staff made us feel like welcome guests, not just people paying for a room. We'll be back.

We had a wonderful week at Hotel Verena, and we're already planning to return. The whole place was clean and cared for, and breakfast was freshly prepared and excellent. Dinner was fantastic too, with seconds available. Best hotel we've stayed in!
