The room felt modern and was spotless. It’s a small property with a lovely garden, and the staff are very friendly and do their best to meet every request.

The balcony had a great view, and the spa may be small, but it’s lovely and has everything you need. The location is perfect, breakfast was excellent every day, and the rooms were beautiful and super clean. Everyone was so friendly, and the service was great. I’d love to return!

The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, and the location is central with excellent restaurants nearby. We ate well everywhere and found the prices reasonable. Our room was large and modern. The bathroom had a window and a big rain shower. The balcony was a good size, with a table, two chairs, a lounger, and a parasol. Everything was very clean. The pool and whirlpool were spacious and clean, though we didn’t try the sauna. There was car parking, bicycle storage in the garage, and a charging station for batteries. Breakfast was fine, and everything we wanted was available and tasty. They’d make scrambled eggs, an omelet, or boiled eggs fresh if we asked. We would have liked a little more variety, though.

It felt impersonal not to have anyone there to welcome us. You get a key code, pick up your room key, and check in yourself. Staff aren’t always at the hotel if you have a question or problem, so that’s something to bear in mind when booking. They did accept and address our complaints and questions. The hotel is practically in the center, but it’s still quiet. Our room was nicely furnished, with a tiny balcony and a bathroom. Unfortunately, the balcony, and therefore the window, was so awkwardly placed that it never got sun at any time of day. That’s what we wanted on vacation, and we were really annoyed, so we’re giving it only three stars. The room itself was good, unless you get the bad luck we did. The spa area is very nicely furnished and inviting. The pool was quite small and very cold. The whirlpool is said to fit four people, but it was almost full with just two of us. We found the much-praised breakfast average and the same each day. There were cold cuts, cheese, and ham, plain yogurt, dry muesli, dried apricots and prunes, jam, and honey. For fresh vegetables, there was a cucumber to cut yourself and a small bowl of mini tomatoes that were a little past their best, slightly shriveled. There were small, sweet mini pastries for dessert, a range of good coffee drinks from the machine, and egg dishes made on request. This probably wasn’t the right kind of hotel for us. If we chose it again, it would be for a short stay, not a whole week like this one.
