I came back after two years and found the studio just as spacious as before, furnished like the basement of your dreams. The bathroom is small but works well. There still isn't air conditioning, which would be really useful in summer. Almost all the light and air come through one large opening, which also serves as a quaint front door.

We were welcomed by a very kind host, and coffee, barley coffee, croissants, and fruit juices were already available. The historic building opens from a large entrance onto one of the quiet squares in the center, right off the main street in the historic center. There's Wi-Fi, and the value for money is excellent.

The room was spacious and the location was good, but the pillows were extremely uncomfortable. There was no breakfast, just coffee pods. The bathroom had no hooks or shelves, and there was only one bedside table, without a lamp.

When I arrived, it looked as though there was nothing there. There was no sign, and everything was dark.
