Country House Le Beone

The setting is lovely, though it's about an hour by car from the main attractions. The property is kept in good shape, with great views in summer, when you can also use the pool. Kids have some games, a slide, and swings, and you can watch the animals. The geese may keep you company at night if your windows are open. Our room was nice, but the bunk bed let it down. It had no ladder or side rail and looked rather homemade. Instead of a proper base or slats, it had wooden beams, and by the third day they were uncomfortable. The bathroom was fine apart from the annoying shower curtain. The food is fresh and homemade, with an appetizer, first course, second course, and dessert, and a choice of two options for each. Breakfast and dinner were decent. The place deserves a pass, but I think some improvements are needed for it to earn more than three stars. Still, if you're nearby, don't hesitate to stay. It has potential.

You'll find peace and quiet among all the greenery here. The owners are friendly and pay attention to what people need without hovering, so it suits both younger and older guests. The food deserves a mention too. In one meal you get to taste typical Tuscan dishes, with all those regional aromas and flavors. I'd recommend it to everyone.

The animals were so friendly and loved being fed. Kids can pet the goats and ponies without being scared, which made this a great spot for families. We also loved the pool and playground, and being surrounded by nature made it easy to relax. The old country house felt comfortable, with cozy, practical rooms. Breakfast was simple but tasty, just as you'd expect in Italy. Dinner was fantastic, with five delicious courses freshly made by Maurizio each day. There's also a kitchen and barbecue for anyone who wants to cook for themselves. Everything was wonderful, Tuscany at its best.

This was our second time here, and we'd happily come back again. Maria and Maurizzio were lovely, taking care of all our wishes. The atmosphere is welcoming and very peaceful, and the food was delicious, varied, and cooked with real care.
