I Girasoli di Lari

We spent a whole month here and found the peaceful hilltop setting among the olive groves a great place to unwind, with beautiful views all around. It’s about 45 minutes from Pisa, and the grounds were lovely for long walks. The pool was a welcome way to relax after exploring. We appreciated the eco-friendly approach, and the property felt thoughtfully set up to be both sustainable and comfortable. We were also glad it welcomed pets. Our cat loved roaming around the grounds, which made the stay even better for us. Sara was a wonderful host, helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived. She shared local suggestions and always made us feel at home. We left feeling rested and refreshed, and would love to come back.

The apartments were clean and had all the comforts we needed. I loved the place, and the owners were so kind. We’ll be back next year!

The pool, tucked among the woods, was one of my favorite things, especially the salt water and the nearby barbecue areas. It’s a cheerful, relaxing place for a holiday, with a real family feel while still giving you privacy. You can choose a studio, one bedroom flat, or a two room apartment for up to six people. The farmhouse is in Tuscany and sells its own wine and organic olive oil. Essential services like a grocery store, pharmacy, and restaurants are 1 km away. Pisa, Florence, and Livorno are easy to reach, as is the airport. Beaches, rivers, nature reserves, and lovely villages such as Volterra and San Gimignano are about 25 minutes away. I also have to admit it’s a great place to work from. We speak English and proudly have a cat. All good vibes are welcome 😊

Sara is such a welcoming host, and the location is lovely. A lovely place to spend your holiday 🥰 Highly recommend 🩷
