Our 2025 wedding here was fantastic. From beginning to end, they couldn't have been more helpful. The food was absolutely fantastic, and the rooms were grand and really impressive. The grounds and the view were stunning. I'd highly recommend this venue for any occasion, especially a wedding.

We were married at ll Castello Di San Ruffino this past Oct 2025, and it went far beyond what we expected. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The accommodations were charming, beautiful, and comfortable, just what you'd hope for in a Tuscan castle. What made it so special was the family oriented way the business is run. Everyone treated us and our guests like family, rather than clients. Their warmth, care, and attention to detail made the whole experience unforgettable. Pierluigi and Laura were especially attentive during the planning and answered all my questions in a timely matter. We couldn't have imagined a better place for our wedding. Il Castello di San Ruffino will always mean a lot to us, and we're endlessly grateful for the memories made there. We can't wait to visit again for our anniversary!

Set in the hills around the medieval village of Lari, this property is a real gem in the heart of Tuscany. Staying in a genuine medieval castle is a special experience, and the remodeled Boutique Resort makes the most of its uniqueness. Each room has its own layout, and the architecture feels charming and authentic. The staff are friendly and attentive. I appreciated how much care they took with the details at check-in and check-out, even though the front desk is in an office. The pool and nearby bistrot are nice additions. Since it's far from any shopping, you'll need a vehicle to get to the nearby villages.

Carlotta, Letizia, and the rest of the staff made us feel so welcome and helped with whatever we needed. We also loved having the castle restaurant right there: the food was very good, especially the tiramisu, and the wine and service were great. The room was roomy, with a really comfortable bed, and the quiet, inviting pool was a lovely place to relax. There are plenty of restaurants and authentic places to explore within a 10-30 minute drive. This was just what we wanted for a Tuscan holiday, and we hope to return someday.
