The apartment was tidy and clean, and it’s spacious, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a combined kitchen and living room. A good fit for a group. The TV is very small, though the joke is that my phone screen is bigger. Who needs a TV on vacation anyway? All the apartments share a pool area and barbecue. The house looks nice, and the hilltop location is scenic, with views in every direction. Even the drive up from the street is a highlight. One drawback is having to cater for yourself, since it’s not a hotel and the nearest restaurant is a few kilometers away. The road doesn’t seem ideal for walking.

The WiFi was the only issue. It’s shared by all the apartments, and I either couldn’t connect or found it slow and unstable. Everything else was clean and well kept, with all the basic necessities supplied and plenty of outdoor space for each apartment. The house and location are beautiful, and the host communicated well, responding quickly and helpfully. Otherwise, no complaints!

We were a group of 15 men and really enjoyed our stay at Tenuta La Casetta. The outdoor pool is a nice extra, and the restaurants nearby make it easy to get into local Tuscan cuisine. Garden dinners with barbecue? Oh, yeah, that gets addictive. Breakfast outside is an option, and you’ll want to do it. The villa sits on a hill among green countryside, with open views in every direction. It’s built in a classic style. Anyone looking for modern luxury might be disappointed, but if you love traditional Tuscany, the sunrise and sunset atmosphere is wonderful.

The rooms and the place are very nice, and we’d stay again. The WiFi connection was the one drawback and could use some improvement.

The views are breathtaking. The WiFi is awful, though you hardly need it with scenery like this.
