The owner is such a warm, welcoming person, and she knows the local history, traditions, and culture so well. Her cooking is excellent, with delicious typical dishes from Molise. It’s a real farmhouse and a lovely spot to relax, enjoy nature, and take in the area’s history and culture. The breakfasts are great too, as are the dinners. A perfect combination for a fabulous holiday.

The setting is truly beautiful, welcoming, and unlike anywhere else, but my experience was disappointing. Prices are high for what you get, and the portions were quite small. The side dish listed with my order never arrived because they said it was “out of stock.” That felt unprofessional, especially since they didn’t provide a sufficient portion or offer an alternative. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Dilma’s breakfast and especially her dinner showcase authentic local cooking, made with her own strictly zero-mile ingredients. The farmhouse itself is wonderfully rustic, and its location makes it easy to head out on excursions and explore the area’s ancient history. We stayed with Dilma and Federico and, within a few hours, felt like part of a family with deep roots and experience. If you want a distinctive stay in the Molise countryside, they’re a great choice.

We had lunch there yesterday as a family, and it was a complete disappointment. There was a bad smell in what they call the dining room, and the place was very dirty. There’s no parking, and the outdoor area was completely neglected, with hazards for children. The food was… well, let’s not even get into that. There was just one waiter serving the whole place. Really…
