The restaurant made a lovely impression, with refined dishes, local ingredients and a wine list that showcases Umbrian wine. Our room was spacious, spotless, tastefully furnished and looked out over the valley. The spa is a highlight, large and modern, with careful attention to detail, heated pools, saunas, a Turkish bath and personalised treatments. The staff were professional, always available and ready to help with a smile. Set among the Umbrian hills, Brufa Hotel and Spa has breathtaking views, green hills and spectacular sunsets, along with a peaceful atmosphere that felt restorative. I’d recommend Brufa Hotel to anyone looking for luxury, relaxation and an authentic experience in the heart of Italy. I’ll definitely be back!

We treated ourselves to an overnight spa package with a massage and dinner, and every part of it was wonderful. The room looked brand new and had a gorgeous panoramic view. The massage was deeply relaxing, the spa luxurious and spotless, and then the meal and cocktails were just wow. We’ll be back!

I proposed during our stay, and the service and treatment I received were the best of my life. It was an amazing experience, exactly what I could have asked for. Everything was perfect.

The rooms had no originality or finesse, and the whole hotel felt designed by robots, with no human touch. We expected a beautifully restored Italian villa, but everything was plastic and laminate. There was black mould around the pool, and cheap LED lights in the saunas. Our room was far from the main front desk, so getting to the facilities meant a very long walk. This hotel is for people with no taste.

I’d only suggest a silent-phone policy, especially in the restaurant. Everything else was such a pleasure during our two-night stay in a junior suite for my daughter’s 30th birthday. The resort was immaculately clean, the staff helpful and friendly, the treatments we chose better than we expected, and the menu and choices were amazing. The views were stunning. Thanks for a fabulous stay!
