The kids had plenty to do, from ping pong and squash to the baby room, and Ivan put on baby dance, games, and even a Carnival party after dinner. The pool worked perfectly for them and me, while my husband and I took turns using the adults-only sauna at no extra cost. Such a treat. Our room was huge, with a double bed for us and three beds for the kids in a separate alcove, plus an amazing view. The rooms may be a bit dated, and there are fancier, more expensive places in Trentino, but after staying at plenty of them over the years, I didn't feel this hotel was missing anything. The food surprised me most. When I asked the chef if anything was homemade at breakfast, she said she made all the cakes fresh. You could tell, and the strudel was out of this world. Dinner and breakfast were great too. I don't usually splurge on massages, but a one-hour treatment was half price at €27. After three days on the slopes, which are only a few minutes away in either direction, I went for it. I think the therapist was called Cecilia, and her Reiki holistic massage was the best I've ever had. We were lucky to find this place during Carnival, when the Alps were fully booked and it was the busiest ski week of the season, with the Winter Olympics in Italy too. It was relatively inexpensive and so worth it. There were no lines on the slopes, and ski and snowboard lessons were cheap, which suited our family since we do both. Thanks to all the staff for such a great vacation!

The staff were exceptionally friendly and worked really hard, and the mountain and lake view felt magical. We had plenty of good food at a reasonable price, and there was a nice terrace and menu too. The pool was clean and fantastic, 15 metres long and 1.45 metres deep, with the water at 24°. The hotel was comfortable and we had a pleasant stay. The supermarket is a two-minute walk away, and the beautiful church is right across the street. Thank you for everything.

There were loads of activities to keep everyone busy, and the food had a wide range of choices for all ages and tastes. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Service was excellent from the start of the week to the end, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially with English speakers. Five stars.

The food was excellent, and we enjoyed the pool and the view of the lake. Our room was spacious and clean. The hotel seems a little worn, though, and its glory days may be behind it. Lavarone is a five-minute drive away, and Folgaria takes about fifteen minutes.

We enjoyed the lake views from some rooms, and all rooms have air conditioning and satellite TV. The Grand Hotel has free parking, and the Astoria opens onto a terrace overlooking the surrounding Alps and nearby Lake Lavarone. There are plenty of places to spend time, including a games room, billiards, a discotheque, and an indoor squash court. The wellness center has an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and Turkish bath. At the restaurant, you can get local and international dishes, starters, a vegetable buffet, and typical Trento food.
