8/10
The quiet countryside setting and traditional Tuscan food made this a lovely place to unwind. It’s also only a short distance from Florence, so you can enjoy the city’s art and history without giving up the peace of the hills. Ginestra Fiorentina brought back childhood memories for me, with my grandparents’ farmhouse and the yellow broom flowers scattered across the landscape. I’d recommend it to visitors looking for good food and a relaxing stay.

Its quiet atmosphere is the main draw, and low house prices are helping bring people back to this small village. It’s in the Lastra a Signa area, about one kilometer from the Ginestra Fiorentina exit.

The place is welcoming, and the view is lovely. I liked the restaurant, but the dishes weren’t really for me. They were good, just not great.
