Country Hotel Borgo Sant'Ippolito

The email help before our trip was really useful, and once we arrived the staff were warm, polite and always ready to sort out what we needed. The rooms and shared spaces were cleaned every day by cheerful people who said hello as we passed, and the pool area was kept spotless too. Breakfast was fresh and there was plenty of it. You do need a car to get to and from the hotel, though. We rented one at the airport for a reasonable price. Thanks for such a top-notch stay.

We were only a few minutes from the highway, and the hotel is next door to a restaurant serving good local dishes. The breakfast buffet, for Italy, was good and had a shady spot on the garden terrace. The room's air conditioning wasn't great, but the wooden shutters made it manageable to sleep. It's a lovely old-style Italian hotel built around a brick bell tower, and we got a kind welcome at check-in, even though we arrived late. I'd happily recommend it.

The location worked beautifully as a base for exploring Tuscany, and we hope we can return someday. Our room was roomy and had its own character, and both breakfast and coffee were really good. The hotel itself is lovely and quiet, but the kind, helpful staff are what made the stay feel special. They went out of their way for us.

The place has a cute look and a peaceful feel, and we had a lovely stay. At first the staff's expressions made us think they might be a bit grumpy. Then we returned our used cups, and after that they were so sweet. It was clear they meant well in everything they did. We'd definitely stay again if we come back to Italy.
