The valley view is stunning, and the garden is clearly cared for with a lot of love. We had a wonderful stay in this amazing house and never found ourselves short of anything. Our hosts were lovely and went well out of their way to help us.

The garden was amazing, and the apartment had a real Tuscan feel, with beautiful furnishings. We had an unforgettable week and liked everything. The owners were kind and helpful. I’d definitely recommend it.

My Labrador loved having room to roam, and the fenced outdoor space felt completely safe. The garden is gorgeous, spread across two well-kept levels and full of flowers and plants. There are lots of places to sit and enjoy it, including the private pool, and there’s even an agility area for dogs. Mine sniffed around, then gave us a look as if to say, “I’m on vacation, you do the gymnastics!” Inside, the old Tuscan house looks just like the photos. It has beautiful floors and ceilings, generous rooms, connecting rooms, and a huge kitchen. My husband, my dog, and I stayed for a few days a couple of weeks ago. I’m a host too, and although my tourist season wasn’t over, I needed a short break from work. The stay was very pleasant, and the owners were always attentive and available. We’re planning to come back in the off season and explore the nearby area more. I highly recommend it for dog owners, or anyone looking to relax, enjoy the culture, and try the local food and wine. After all, we’re in Tuscany!

Laterina is a peaceful village with a bakery that makes delicious bread and a small shop for basics. The supermarkets are farther away, but you can get to them in about 15 minutes. From this quiet base, you can reach some of Tuscany’s most beautiful places, and we found it ideal for peace and relaxation. We were three people with two dogs, staying for 10 days in July. The house was lovely and stayed cool. Two electric awnings shade the long balcony and help keep the sun out. Inside, it’s spacious and full of character, with a big kitchen, a huge fireplace, a roomy living room with a sofa bed and a TV with loads of movies, and a comfortable bathroom with two entrances. The bedrooms are roomy too, and the furnishings are more than excellent. The garden is beautifully maintained, with a lawn nice to walk barefoot on and a variety of plants and shrubs that smell of Mediterranean scrub. The pool was always clean and well cared for, with what you need for sunbathing or reading in the shade. Our dogs could safely roam the garden. It’s quiet, with no background noise, and the owners are wonderful people. Highly recommended!
