The room was well looked after, and the people who welcomed us were so kind and helpful. We felt very well received, and I’d gladly come back.

The only real plus for me was the parking inside the property, and how close it is to most things. The rest was awful. I don't get the glowing reviews, unless some of them are fake. My room was big but frighteningly dated. The pillows were rock hard, the room was noisy, and the refrigerator kept buzzing through the night unless I unplugged it. The bathroom felt ancient, the tap barely ran because of limescale, there was no bidet, and the shower head beside the toilet was rusty. The toilet seat was old, and the shower stall was dull and coated with limescale. Foreign maids were sent to knock on my door to collect payment. Breakfast was just dry croissants, an old-looking tart, and a hot drinks machine that didn't work. If you asked, they'd make coffee or cappuccino, at least.

The owner was kind enough to fix the air conditioning, but the dishes I kept asking for never arrived. I even found a cockroach in the room. The place felt cold and badly in need of renovation, with a dirty mattress cover. I had booked a room with a kitchenette, but there wasn't even a pot. The welcome was poor too: the woman who greeted me first asked for payment, then told me to keep the air conditioning at 20 or it would stop working. After I pressed about the missing dishes, she said she'd bring a pot the next day.
