B&B Relax Damiani

The location was excellent, and the rooms were very clean. The people were lovely and so friendly. A big kiss to the very kind lady whose name, unfortunately, I can’t remember!

The owner was welcoming, kind, and super helpful, and we really enjoyed having breakfast and lunch there. The food was excellent, with fresh fruit. Our quadruple room was much bigger than we expected for such a reasonable price, and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was large and clean too. The balcony was more like a proper terrace, with a table for meals and a drying rack for clothes after the beach or a shower. The location is the one drawback, but it’s manageable. Santa Maria is a 10-minute drive away, and we arranged to use the bus instead. The stop is 5 meters from the B&B, and buses run about once an hour. The ride takes 10 minutes, like going by car, and costs only €2.80. We’ll definitely come back!

The location was our only real downside, though getting around without a car was easy enough. There’s a deli downstairs where you can also have lunch, and the bus stop is just a few meters away. We booked a room for four for 5 days and 4 nights, and the low price had us expecting something much smaller and fairly basic. Instead, from the first day we were struck by how clean and spacious it was. The listed “outdoor balcony” was actually a good-sized terrace with a table and chairs. The room was bright, including the bathroom, and the drawers had everything we needed. Service was impeccable. They changed towels and sheets, and tidied the room several times during our short stay. The staff were very friendly, and we’ll definitely return.

Breakfast was a pleasant surprise. The fruit was always fresh, as were the other ingredients, and the food was delicious and varied. The place is on the beach, and lunch is available too. The room was spacious and, above all, clean, just like the rest of the property. We came to visit the city and found this a great place to stay. The owners welcomed us warmly, were helpful, and made themselves available. The bus stop is right under the building, with a bus every hour, so we used that. If you can, though, I’d suggest coming by car so you can set your own schedule. We’ll definitely be back.
