The room was in a handy spot, close to many Rome attractions, and was suitable otherwise. But there was no hot water, and the property manager offered no help. The other couple travelling with us had the same problem. With that service and no hot water, I wouldn’t stay here again.

The location gets 9/10 from me. We could walk to places easily, and taxis were surprisingly cheap. The cafe next door was brilliant, too. The gentleman at reception was friendly and helpful, and leaving our luggage there before a late flight came in handy. Having to check out by 10am felt far too early, though. Most hotels seem to allow until around 11:30 or noon. Breakfast was only 3/10: room service brought one croissant and a drink each, which wasn’t much, so we may as well have eaten out. For the room, I’d say 5/10. It was very clean, cleaned regularly, and came with fresh towels each day. The shower was great, but the TV was pointless because Netflix wouldn’t connect to the internet. The fridge barely kept drinks cool. We slept reasonably well, about 7/10. The pillows were comfortable, and extra pillows and a blanket were available. The mattress wasn’t great and left us with sore backs. For a city centre spot, there wasn’t too much noise.

The AC in our room didn’t work, so I had to sleep in the cooler bathroom. It was a terrible experience. Staff were no help either. I paid for three nights, but after we couldn’t sleep on the first night, I asked for a refund for just one night. It’s been almost a week without a response. I wouldn’t recommend this place. The staff know nothing and won’t help with anything.

I stayed there last July and couldn’t sleep either of the two nights. The spa was so noisy I couldn’t turn it off, and nobody came to help, even after I told the staff. They seemed to think a WhatsApp message would sort it out. The price felt ridiculous and unfair for that kind of service. Do yourself a favor and don’t go.
