Residence Villa Rosi

The grounds are kept in excellent condition, and the owner is friendly. It’s a peaceful place with a beautiful view. Just be aware that the road to the Residence is narrow and has an 8% gradient, so a powerful car is recommended.

In April it was wonderfully quiet, and the owner was kind and helpful. Our bungalow was neat and simply furnished, with everything two people need. The garden and pool are beautiful. There’s a supermarket and bar nearby in Torchiara. It’s a lovely region: we mostly explored Cilento National Park, and the coast is close too.

Gianfranco and Rosi are always available, and the place has a relaxed, homely feel. I felt comfortable there right from the moment I arrived, which doesn’t always come easily to me. The residence is made up of just a few villas, surrounded by green, olive trees, and vineyards. The pool is magnificent, and you can eat outdoors on your own porch. Inside, the owner’s handcrafted furnishings give the place character, and there’s a four-burner stovetop, air conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi, a hairdryer, washing machine, iron, and ironing board. Agropoli, Paestum, and Santa Maria di Castellabate are easy to reach. I highly recommend it!

The cottage was clean, private, and fully equipped, with a private pool. The gardens are stunning, the view amazing, and the setting wonderfully quiet. The bed was comfortable, though a little short for me, so I let my feet hang over the end.
