Absolutely beautiful! We rode in an open car, though you can choose open or closed, and got incredible views to capture on our phones and in our hearts. Looking down from the cable car bucket can be a bit heart-stopping. Each car holds just two people, including a baby, so younger kids need an adult with them. We had lunch at the hotel, with quick service and good food. There’s also a play area for kids. A fantastic day out.

You can ride in an open or closed bucket, and it was a smooth trip. The views from the top of the mountain are great. Definitely an experience for the bucket list.

At the top, there were bathrooms, a restaurant, water, cocktails, a small kids’ playground, and lots of benches and viewpoints. We spent around three hours there, taking our time and having lunch. The gondola opened at 11am, and the line moved along fairly quickly. Families of two adults and two kids get a special rate. The open-air bucket gave us spectacular lake views and a full 360-degree panorama. The weather was beautiful, and we could see the distant mountain ranges with snow. A great outing with the kids and grandparents!

The views were breathtaking, probably the best I’ve had from a cable car, but the ride was really scary. It’s a small bucket for at most two people, with no safety protection, so I think the staff should offer a quick briefing and some reassurance. We went on a warm, sunny day and loved the experience, though some parts frightened me. On the way down I wondered if I’d rather walk, haha, but riding back down was actually nice. It cost €10 for a return trip, and I’d still recommend it.
