POP Art B&B

A great location for tourists, and Patricia, the manager, is great. The room is functional, but we stayed in the Andy Warhol room and it was very noisy. Light sleepers will struggle to sleep before 1am. Street cleaning starts around 5am, so there's no need to set an alarm.

The location is really good, but we felt the room wasn't very clean. The bath was in poor condition, with some strange black stuff stuck in the corners. We didn't even stay the night; we left and went to a hotel. There's no elevator either, so you'll have to carry your bags up the stairs.

We chose this place for the experience and kept our expectations moderate. For a moderate property, it was clean and well maintained. The location is right among Rome's busy streets, and our room window looked down onto the local restaurants, which was a treat. I suggested they tone down the flowery scent because it was extremely strong in the room. My only issue was the bottle disposal noise. It's surprising that with new advances they haven't found a better solution. It takes a long time and can disturb a tired tourist who needs some proper rest.

Our room faced the backyard, so we didn't hear the street noise that carried on until late. The rooms are clean and functionally equipped, though we would have liked a few more shelves or racks. The location is perfect, very close to the Pantheon and on one of the main walking routes to the Fontana Di Trevi. Right outside the main door there are several great restaurants and cafes. But you can't seriously come to Rome without wanting to enjoy some of the joie de vivre.
