Hotel Windrose

After long days touring and pushing through crowds, it was lovely to come back to such a peaceful hotel and area. The location is unbelievable, the rooms are immaculately cleaned, and reception staff were helpful with everything. Breakfast staff were delightful too. We had a family room with two kids. It was on the small side, but manageable, as you’d expect from a boutique hotel. The room was quite basic, though I felt we got more than we paid for in comfort and service. I’d definitely stay again.

The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating when I needed to drop my luggage off well before check-in. When I mentioned I had an early train, they prepared a takeaway breakfast without me asking, and someone made me coffee the next morning before I left. The neighborhood is busy with tourists and locals, plus plenty of convenience shops for basics. There’s a Conad nearby for groceries, lots of good Italian food, and I also enjoyed an authentic Peruvian meal. I needed a small, quiet hotel for the night before heading home, and this central spot was perfect. The bedroom and bathroom were small, but I’d happily stay there again.

Our triple room was good, and the breakfast was tasty. The hotel’s in a good location, too. Paolo at the front desk was really friendly and helpful. A lovely place, thank you.

The room was comfortable, clean, and well looked after, and getting around from the location was easy. The staff were warm and helpful the whole time, always ready with a smile. I’d happily recommend staying here.
