Palazzo Caruso

The room was nice and the location convenient, but I barely slept. I arrived after a long day of travel hoping to rest, and the room above mine sounded like it was hosting a party: loud music, stomping, banging, and ongoing noise late into the night. I told management around 11:30 p.m. The noise carried on until about 1:00 a.m., and nothing effective was done. After I finally fell asleep, noise from the breakfast area above woke me again, so I got very little rest. I travel a lot and have stayed in around 8-10 hotels over the past few weeks, but I haven’t experienced anything like this. I’ve never been in a four-star hotel where guests were allowed to disturb rooms below them for hours without the problem being properly handled. The next day I contacted Booking.com and got a refund for the night, then cancelled the rest of my stay. The manager later asked me to leave as soon as possible, raising his voice and being extremely rude, even though I was the one who’d been kept awake. The manager’s attitude made an already bad experience worse. A hotel should give guests a comfortable place to rest. I can’t recommend this one, and would suggest looking elsewhere.

The staff were welcoming, polite, and helpful, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well cared for. The location was convenient too. We had a very pleasant stay, and I’d definitely recommend the hotel for a comfortable visit.

We had lovely views over Barberini Square from both rooms, and there was no outside noise issue. The rooms had comfortable beds and pillows, plus spacious bathrooms with great showers. Shampoo and conditioner were provided, and there’s a lift. The location is excellent, with Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, and lots of places to eat a short walk away. There’s a taxi rank very close by, and the metro is nearby. Plenty of shops are in the area as well. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The outdoor terrace is gorgeous for breakfast on a sunny day. Would highly recommend.

A great boutique hotel with an amazing location near famous landmarks. Service was excellent, and Mon hosted a very good breakfast. The suites are especially spacious, and the superior rooms are lovely, though their high bathtub can be a little hard to climb into. The manager and assistants were very focused on customer service. Highly recommended.
