For a two-star hotel, this delivers much more than expected. The rooms are large and really clean, the staff are very friendly, and the restaurant is great. There are toys for kids out front. It's far enough from Gardaland to stay quiet and peaceful. I'd recommend it.

We liked it so much that after a week travelling around northern Italy, we decided to return. The people here are friendly and helpful, and the restaurant has great meals, desserts, and lunch and dinner options if you don't feel like going out. With a car, it's a great base, near Lake Garda but away from the crowds. The pool is a nice bonus. The rooms are a bit dated, but clean and spacious enough. The bathroom is a little small, though not too bothersome. We even got a gift when checking out.

We tried the restaurant after the owner of the nearby house where we're staying recommended it. The food was very good, and the staff were professional, quick, polite and courteous. You can get takeaway, or have a full meal there with that Italian feel of eating alongside local people. The pizza was perfetto, and the service was molto excellente. Outside there's a terrace, lots of toys for kids and parking spaces. Grazie Mille al ristorante la rama. We'll come back if we're at lago di garda again.
