Villa Peler

We had such a lovely weekend at Villa Pelèr. Asia greeted us on arrival with a welcome drink on the beautiful glassed-in veranda, looking out over the private pool. The outdoor space was a real highlight: we had a private terrace with a charming jacuzzi for our own use, and there’s also a large shared in-ground pool with clean water, sun loungers, and umbrellas. The room was spotless and comfortable, with adjustable heating and air conditioning for summer. The spacious bathroom had a large shower, towels, and toiletries. The minibar was topped up every day with drinks and snacks, including the option of a good local wine. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of sweet and savory options. Asia and Cinzia were always friendly, helpful, professional, and never intrusive. It’s a quiet, well-kept place. Highly recommended, and we’ll be back.

The hosts are so welcoming, and the property is a beautiful little place with private access to the lake. Everything is furnished with care, and breakfast is included, fresh and thoughtfully prepared. They also have a small farm shop with wine and olive oil from their own groves. We’d love to return and highly recommend it.

It’s a peaceful place and well placed for getting around, close to everything. The pool was okay, and the hosts were nice, though very strict. Based on the booking photos, I expected better for the price. The garden by our room was constantly covered in pigeon poop, with two large thujas nearby. The jacuzzi wasn’t clean inside, and the wood outside needed repainting. Breakfast was just okay, with no vegetables or toast. The selection was terrible, even for fruit. Some rules felt overly rigid. Beach towels cost 5 euros each, could only be used on the property, and couldn’t be taken to the beach. You couldn’t take your breakfast coffee to your room, even though there was coffee in the room; its milk was sour. The same applied to the fridge: if you wanted to bring your own things, you had to tell them, and they’d remove their own set, which wasn’t free. None of that was stated anywhere. They clean every day, which is great, but guests should have the option to decline. These are just general observations, and everyone has a different opinion.

That little cake with a candle was such a sweet touch, and my partner really appreciated it ❤️ We chose B&B Villa Pelèr and were glad we did. Cinzia, Asia, and Alberto were so kind, helpful, and courteous. The room had everything we needed, and there was a lovely pool and hot tub too. The place is close to the center of Lazise, yet wonderfully peaceful. Comfort, warm hospitality, and especially the cleanliness made our stay great. We'll definitely come back ☺️
