Francesco welcomed us and gave us a helpful rundown of the area. Lazise's lovely old town is close enough for a short walk, and the property feels like a pleasant little village. The apartments are convenient and well equipped. My only suggestion would be darker blinds in the bedroom for anyone who prefers the room darker in the morning.

We used this as a base for exploring Lake Garda and had a lovely stay. The main square in Lazise is about a seven-minute walk, and there's a Lidl just around the corner. It's a self-catering complex with 30 well-equipped apartments, a good-sized, very clean pool, table tennis, a BBQ area and games to borrow. Francesco and Claudia were welcoming and really helpful with local suggestions and booking taxis. I'd happily recommend it.

The people were friendly and helpful, and there's a small supermarket nearby. We also liked the pool and the big grassy area, plus the balcony and facilities in the apartment. The area is beautiful and the centre of Lazise is within walking distance. The downside is the noise between apartments. Some are on lower floors, and if people sit outside drinking late into the night, it can be hard to sleep. We were lucky and didn't have that problem. The apartments themselves are nice, though the quality is fairly standard.
