We had a lovely week here. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, a genuinely wonderful person. It was also super affordable. The property is just 10 minutes from Lecce and well placed for getting to the main sights, including Gallipoli, Lecce, and Torre dell'Orso. We’ll definitely be back! Claudia and Peppe

We were disappointed by the owner. He said not to worry and promised to drive us to Lecce and collect us, but he wasn’t there at the agreed time. For the return, even though we’d told him no taxi would take us to Lequile, he basically said, “Find it yourself.” Maybe he offered to help because he thought that after paying 30 euros for the first ride, we’d go to a hotel in Lecce and give up the room, but the situation only got worse. We paid 70 euros through Booking for one night in a room in a house in a town like Lequile, which felt outrageous. Though it’s only 15 km from Lecce, there’s no public transport and very few taxis, charging 25-30 euros each way. We spent about 90 euros on taxis and 70 for the room, and didn’t even have breakfast because we checked out at 6:30. Other guests had paid 50 euros, which is what I think a B&B like this should cost, not 70.

There’s a lovely park view from the balcony, and the whole place feels peaceful and quiet. Pino is a wonderful host, so kind, polite, and helpful. The service was excellent, and breakfast included the famous pasticciotto Leccese and croissants. It’s easy to reach, with plenty of parking right in front of the B&B. A full 10, especially for couples wanting a private, comfortable stay somewhere beautiful and calm.

We’ve stayed with Mr. Pino several times and still come back whenever we’re near Lequile, which is very close to Lecce. The place is clean, tidy, and quiet, with excellent service. The owner is great and always helpful. I highly recommend it 🙂
