Corte Barocca

We spent two weeks at Corte Barocca in January 2022 and were perfectly comfortable. Sandra was a great host, quick to respond whenever we had a question or request. The B&B was very clean, nicely furnished and had useful touches like a Lavazza coffee machine and milk foamer. It's in a quiet, safe spot in the historic centre, close to Basilica di Santa Croce and everything Lecce has to offer.

The old town of Lecce looks amazing from here. The B&B was really comfortable, super clean and tidy, and breakfast was fantastic.

We loved the breakfast and the fantastic location, and the place was so clean. The host was absolutely lovely. One of our best stays in Italy 🇮🇹, can't recommend it enough.

My husband and I spent 11 days in the apartment. It was spacious enough and beautiful. I think we may have been the first guests to stay for such a long time, and perhaps the first from outside Italy. The apartment agent, Anna, didn’t speak English and seemed very nervous. She came by twice without telling us in advance, both times unexpectedly. On the second visit we were out, and she found things untidy because we had used some blankets from the wardrobe and a tablecloth while using the kitchen. When we got back, my pyjamas were on the floor and the kitchen tablecloth was gone. Before Anna’s visit, we had replaced it with a clean one we found in the wardrobe, the same one shown in the kitchen photo. She texted that she was angry about the mess. She seemed to expect guests to keep everything perfectly clean throughout their stay and not use things like the blankets, but nobody had told us what we could or couldn’t use. We thought we were in an apartment, not a museum, and could use what was there. When we left at 5:30 in the morning, Anna, the owner and his wife all came. Anna lost control and eventually demanded 100 euro because she had to wash the tablecloth and clean the apartment, although it hadn’t been cleaned during our stay. The owner said something to her and she calmed down. I recommend that the owner change agents. She is really crazy.
