We arrived on a Sunday afternoon without a reservation and found a room at this very small boutique hotel. You need to ring the bell, and the extremely friendly young woman at the front desk and housekeeping let us in. Once she'd confirmed a room was available for the night, she let us put our bags inside while she finished cleaning it. The room had been recently remodeled and had everything we could need, including a huge closet. Breakfast was brought to the room on a small rolling table, and there was much more than we needed to be satisfied. You're given a code to enter the lobby because there's no front desk attendant for most of the evening and night. A very pleasant stay and good value for the money. We'll stay here again when we're back in Lecce.

The room was clean, nicely decorated, and the staff were genuinely helpful. But we were right beside reception, facing a busy square, and people outside kept talking late at night and early in the morning. It felt like they were inside with us. I had to buy earplugs and still found it impossible to sleep. Construction noise made things even worse, like the work was happening in our room. The bathroom shower window also felt badly placed, as guests in nearby rooms might be able to see in, which made me uncomfortable. I stayed here with my partner on a recent trip to Lecce, and I wouldn't recommend this B&B.

That huge ceiling in our room is something we'll remember. It was an incredible place right in the heart of Lecce, and we really didn't want to leave.

The room and staff were both lovely, but getting any sleep was out of the question. If you're in the room beside reception, people can also see you shower, depending on how you feel about that.
