Palazzo dei Dondoli

We had an amazing stay. The owner even handwrote a list of local attractions, which is included in the pictures. Breakfast offered plenty of variety, and the coffee was delicious. Service was outstanding, the rooms felt luxurious, and the beds and linens were exquisite. Parking is limited, but you may have better luck at the end of the street if you turn right. Highly recommend.

Porta Rudiae is very close, and the hotel itself is beautiful, with tasteful furnishings and fittings. Breakfast had plenty of choice and kept us going through the day. The friendly, polite staff looked after us so well and made us feel special. A big shout-out to Serena. She was always smiling and gave us fantastic ideas for places to visit. She went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were taken care of. The whole team was lovely, and I'd recommend this hotel to everyone.

The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, and they went above and beyond for us. We were traveling as a large group, so they offered a delicious homemade dinner that was a lovely addition to the stay. The rooms were nicely updated but still had local character. There was also a beautiful garden where breakfast was served, plus a lovely rooftop terrace. Breakfast in the courtyard each day was tasty and delightful. The grounds were stunning, and the location was convenient, a short walk from the city center and not far from the train station. I highly recommend it.

The roof terrace was a nice spot for an early evening drink, and the Palazzo sits on a quiet side street in Lecce. We stayed five nights and managed a wine tasting day and a slow train trip to the coast at Gallipoli. The train takes 1hr43m, while a taxi could do it in 30 mins, but at a cost. The old town is only a five-minute walk away. The rooms were lovely, the staff delightful, and the location was great.
