When we arrived in Lecce, we couldn't get in touch with the host, so we cancelled the reservation. Another host we'd booked contacted us right away, and we stayed there instead. We still ended up paying extra for nothing.
We chose this place for a three-night family stay with our two children. The accommodation was well maintained and fairly quiet, right in Lecce's beautiful historic center. All the essentials are only a few hundred meters away. Recommended!
The owners were very kind and knowledgeable, and always available to help. The setting is a beautifully maintained 15th-century place with some modern touches, right on the historic center's main streets and just steps from the Church of Santa Croce. I'd recommend it for an elegant weekend.
