Patria Palace Hotel Lecce - Leading Hotels of the World

We came back after a wonderful stay three years ago, and this hotel still feels special. Its position right in the heart of Lecce, opposite the beautiful Basilica di Santa Croce, is hard to beat. The elegant, high-end design is lovely, and the service is flawless. Breakfast was perfect, and we really enjoyed the ground-floor cocktail bar. The rooftop bar was closed for reconstruction while we were there. It was a unique, memorable stay, and we were glad to return.

The breakfast was a highlight, with fresh juices, excellent eggs cooked just right, plenty of fresh fruit, and delicious pastries. Everything was high quality and beautifully presented. The hotel itself is gorgeous, warm, and inviting, and the rooms are elegant, comfortable, and well kept. We switched rooms during our stay to get a balcony, and it was absolutely the right call. The new room was stunning and had a wonderful feel. Every staff member we met was friendly, attentive, and professional, from housekeeping and the service team to the porter, bar staff, and reception. They all went out of their way to make us comfortable, and that kind of genuine hospitality is rare. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. This place is truly worth every penny. Our stay was perfect, with comfort, elegance, and service at the highest level. We’d gladly give it six stars if we could, and we’re already looking forward to returning.

I recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Lecce. The staff took great care of us, from the warm welcome and hotel tour to parking our car and arranging a passport delivery quickly over the holiday weekend. They’re the best I’ve encountered, and even if you leave something behind, they’ll look after you.

Breakfast was generous, with all the choices you’d expect from a high-class hotel, and a live harp or violin player made it feel special. The rooftop bar was a delight, though you need to book. The location is right in the centre, and arriving by car gives you the fun of driving through the restricted ZTL. We felt at home as soon as we walked in, thanks in our case to Emmanuela getting us settled. Every staff member was friendly, smiling, and gave superb service. Even the best hotels in Asia would find it hard to match them. I’d give the team six stars if I could. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back if we get the chance.
