The owners were the real highlight. They welcomed us so warmly and did everything they could to make our stay in Lecco wonderful. They were some of the kindest, most genuine people we met on our trip to Italy, and we’d come back just for them. The building was lovely and very clean, and the rooms were spacious and very good. Lecco itself is amazingly beautiful.

Breakfast started each morning with a big smile, and Cristina and Enzo were ready with tips for places around the area. The room was kept in excellent condition, with everything up to a high standard. It’s easy to walk along the lake or take a short bus ride into town, so this is a great base for exploring Lecco and Lake Como. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to coming back.

We had a fantastic stay, and Vincenzo was a great host at breakfast. The place was modern, quiet, clean, and clearly cared for down to the details. We drove, so the location was no problem; without a car, Lecco Maggianico station is still just a 10-15 minute walk away, with connections to Lecco and Milan. The hosts also accommodated our late check-in and sent a video showing how to do it. One of the nicer stays on our Lake Como trip.

The history here is a fun extra: the place is mentioned in Alessandro Manzoni’s “I promessi sposi.” It’s been freshly restored, and the rooms feel new, clean, and cozy. The owners are super friendly, and you can ask them for suggestions. Breakfast was lovely, and dogs are allowed for a small fee. Amazing place, 10/10, truly recommend!

The hosts were especially warm and kind, and our room was always clean and very cozy. Breakfast was delicious too. We recommend “La Casa Del Sarto” to anyone hoping for a great experience around Lake Como.
