Dream House

We were able to relax here. The sea is calm and warm, and the pebbly beach is quiet. From the dining area, you can see the only road down to the sea and lots of greenery. There are walks of different lengths and difficulty levels, and the master bedroom and bathroom have beautiful sea views. The house is dated but comfortable, and it works for a family, not two couples. To reach the bathroom, whoever sleeps in the master bedroom has to walk through the other bedroom, which has no door. The kitchen is basic, with no microwave, kettle, or coffee maker. There isn’t much equipment, but what’s there is varied and adequate. There’s no heating or air conditioning, and the windows let in all the noise even when shut. Fortunately, the area isn’t very noisy. You’ll need a vehicle to get around, and the roads are narrow with lots of hairpin bends.

Mrs. Mary treated us wonderfully and helped us with everything we needed. She even found a car for her when nobody else on the island had one. Her house has a spectacular view, and we’ll definitely return to Casa Garibaldi.
