Locanda Miranda has been family-owned since 1959, and its location makes it easy to walk in either direction for shops and restaurants. We like exploring all the places in Tellaro, but this is the only inn we’d choose to stay in again. From the historic character and beautiful construction to the view from the room, it has a lot of charm. Breakfast is another pleasure, with the innkeeper bringing fresh coffee and food in the morning. It may not be a five-star hotel, but for beauty, history, charm, and a great location in Tellaro, it’s exactly what we wanted. Stay here once and you may feel the same.

We stayed two nights in August 2023 while passing through. It’s a quiet, relaxed little town, and the B&B sits conveniently between Fiascherino Bay, the village down the road, and several good restaurants, including some right next door. Our host was lovely, the room was comfortable for a B&B, and the wifi was good. Breakfast was a standard continental one. There’s no air conditioning, but the portable fan and sea breeze helped with the summer heat. I was in room 207. If you work remotely, the restaurant area may be a more comfortable place to set up. In peak season, the beaches get busy, so go early to find a good spot. Also, the beaches here have no waves.

We had a wonderful time with the hosts and enjoyed the meals and walks around town. It was also an easy drive to La Spezia, Cinque Terre, and the marble quarries.

We were glad to find such a convenient location, lovely sea view, and welcoming staff. The owner also kindly let us keep our car in the parking lot after checkout, which confirmed we’d made a great choice.
