We left after about an hour because we couldn’t stay overnight in the room. It was colder inside than the roughly 21°C weather outside, and the heating didn’t work even when turned up to 30°C. We waited to see if it would warm up, and even tried leaving the door open for warmth, which wasn’t a normal or safe option at night with our 6-year-old on the ground floor. The manager and staff were dismissive and arrogant, with no effort to check the system, offer another room, or find any other solution. We were essentially told to do whatever we wanted. The hotel also refused to refund the two nights we had booked and communicated poorly throughout. Very disappointing, with unacceptable room conditions and customer service. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I couldn’t sleep in the 35-degree heat with the air conditioning broken. I reported it to reception, but the next night they still sold me that room with the same problem. Breakfast wasn’t good either. There was fresh fruit, but the coffee was the worst I’ve ever had.

The hotel sits over a busy intersection on the main road beside the lake, and the noise came right through the paper-thin walls. Our bed was far too soft, breakfast was mediocre, and the AC was broken, with a flashing red light that couldn’t be switched off. It was not a pleasant stay.

The food was good and good value, and the staff were nice. The inside is much better than the outside looks.
