La Lanterna Sopra il Moggia

Breakfast was brought to us every morning by our really friendly, helpful hosts. The room was modern and clean, with everything we needed, even USB plugs. La Lanterns is an excellent location, just a short, pleasant walk into Levanto. I couldn’t find anything to fault and would recommend it to anyone visiting Levanto or the Cinque Terre region.

La Lanterna Sopra il Moggia provides free secured parking, and you can request a shuttle to Levanto centre. Hiking trails through the Cinque Terre area start nearby. Levanto Train Station is a 15-minute walk along the main road to Monterosso al Mare. The colourful, modern rooms have air conditioning, an LCD TV, an en suite bathroom, and a small furnished patio. There’s also a small table and chairs in each room. The fridge comes stocked with free mineral water, milk, and fruit juices. Ingredients for a self-service sweet breakfast are provided, along with a coffee machine, tea bags, and coffee pods. Free gluten-free products are available on request.

It felt like a home away from home, and the people were lovely. They gave us lots of helpful information about Cinque Tere and even drove us to the best restaurant, Zita, up in the hills. The breakfasts could be better, though.

The hosts were so friendly and nice, and kept offering us a lift to the train station. We had a very pleasant stay in a clean room with Italian style and a balcony where we could have a beautiful breakfast. The host brought fresh crossant, coffee, and foccacia each morning, and it was delicious! We highly recommend staying here. Thank you, Enrico and Elisa! Best regards!
