Giorgio met us at the station when we arrived by train, and he was so warm and friendly. We had everything we needed in a roomy, comfortable room. The bed was much too hard, though, and we both woke up with sore necks on both mornings. Bars and restaurants nearby can make the area busy and noisy at times. Still, the location is great for the beach and main hiking trails. We really enjoyed our stay.

The little courtyard garden is a lovely spot for breakfast, which is simple but has what you need. We also appreciated the friendly welcome and especially the free parking, a real find in Levanto. The location is very central, just 50 meters from the sea as the crow flies.

Breakfast came with fresh croissants, with the flavors chosen the day before, plus fresh bread, Nutella, and jam. For drinks there was a kettle with tea bags and a few instant mocha packets. The room was neat, though the old fridge made quite a racket. We had been told by email that they wouldn’t take credit or debit cards for a one-night stay, which didn’t seem particularly fair to me. Even so, we had a good stay, and the property is right on the seafront. Parking is at the owner’s house, about 500 meters away.

The location is excellent, only 50 meters from the sea and the center. The rest of the experience was inadequate.

The room was comfortable and spotless, and the owner made us feel very welcome. We were close to both the sea and the center, and the welcome was excellent. A perfect location, and I’d highly recommend it.
