B&B Express

Nice place!

The rooms were spotless, and the owner was genuinely kind and ready to help. Excellent service.

The location is handy for reaching all the beaches, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Still, after four nights at €85 a night, I felt badly overcharged and don't expect to return. The building is run-down and looked nothing like it did in the photos or reviews. My room was at the back of a bar, with no concierge. The bed had a mattress that was uncomfortable and rattled whenever I moved. The aluminum doors had basic double glazing, and I spent each night worried something might happen. Security bars could have helped. Sound carried badly too: I could hear the phone keys in the next room, and on my last morning the tire repair shop across the street woke me up. Breakfast was described as unlimited, but it was just croissants and coffee or cappuccino. No one offered juice, so I can't say if it was available. Calling it plentiful should mean more than unlimited croissants, with a wider choice. The room wasn't very clean. After its one and only cleaning, the hair I'd left on the bathroom floor that morning was still there. Sheets and towels were changed only once, despite a large notice saying they would be changed every two days. That wasn't acceptable for what we paid. They also left us without toilet paper for two days, and there was already-used body wash in the shower. I don't want to use a personal hygiene product someone else has used; it should be disposable.

The location is a plus, and breakfast at the café next door was decent, though the choices stopped at croissants and pasticciotti. But the room was damp, smelly, cramped, and had no windows. The linens and towels were extremely worn. Booking.com said daily housekeeping was included, but that never happened. Absolutely would not recommend it.
