I had a very satisfying stay at Hotel Ateneo and would recommend it to anyone. It's right in central Venice, and the staff were helpful, always smiling, and very accommodating to guests' needs. I liked the hotel a lot and would love to return.

Breakfast is served buffet-style with American options, and there was plenty to eat. It was tasty too. The woman looking after it kept a close eye on both the food levels and cleanliness. Staff were friendly whenever we passed by.

A lovely hotel in a really nice location, with tasty breakfast. The price felt very good for what they provide.

The breakfast was handy, though that's about the best I can say for it. The staff were really nice and the location was great. Our room felt small, and the bathroom was smaller still, with a low ceiling. The hotel is definitely showing its age.
