Hotel Vezzena

The location worked perfectly for our school group's ski trip, close to the slopes and with handy facilities for storing ski equipment. Our 100-person group, 90 students and 10 adults, was very well looked after. The bedrooms were clean and suited our needs, and both students and adults praised every meal. The hotel catered for all dietary requirements. Staff across every department were wonderful: the waiting team was attentive, reception helped with all our questions and medical needs, and housekeeping kept the rooms and shared spaces spotless. Everyone was friendly to the adults and students. Daniele, our tour rep, was a fantastic part of the trip. He was a friend to students and adults, arranged great evening activities, helped during ski lessons, and took excellent care of us when medical attention was needed. He was always attentive and went above and beyond. The group fit him in seamlessly, and the trip wouldn't have been as good without him. I'd gladly stay again and recommend the hotel to other school groups.

Our room was on the third floor, which hasn't been updated yet, but it was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The rooms on the first and second floors have been refurbished and modernized. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, and the hotel had just what we needed after a day on the slopes: a clean, warm, comfortable place right across the road. I'd stay here again.

The ski slopes were the only good part of this awful weeklong stay, and the hotel was far too poor for its price. My room had flies, holes in the floor, and dirty clothes left under the beds by past guests. The beds were filthy with dust and dirt, had no covers, and felt close to breaking. One squeaked so badly I couldn't sleep. There were spiders and flies in the shower, things in the room were broken or nearly broken, and the door lock took around 50 turns of the key to open. The exit door was hard to get through. We were served rotten food, including green, undercooked fish and raw sausages, and it made me vomit. Employees were unpleasant and made sour faces when asked for anything. The cleaning staff were unfriendly and untrustworthy. My room had no towels, the electricity kept cutting in and out, and it swung between blasting hot and freezing. The walls were paper thin. My friend's phone went missing while they were staying in the same hotel at the same time.

After our hike in the freezing rain, they let us in right away and brought warm tea with rum. The bartender was really kind and helpful, even though we were soaking wet. Thank you!
