Hotel Vianello

It’s quiet, close to the beach, and the view from the balcony is really nice. The room had modern furniture, and the pool is big. Staff were very nice and polite. My one complaint was the bathroom, which was too small and didn’t have enough room.

The balcony view is great, the pool is good, and the food is tasty. There’s pasta almost every day, which makes sense when you’re in Italy, plus a bar selling things like hamburgers and ice cream. Some rooms are quite small and oddly laid out, the elevator is slow, and the TVs are very old. A few rooms also seem to be missing certain features. Despite the bad reviews the hotel has received over time, I think it’s a great place and deserves its 3 stars. In the end, you’ll have to judge the quality for yourself.

Breakfast is minimal, but fine. Dinner was really awful, though, and felt like a mockery of Italian food, made with the cheapest, wrong ingredients. I’d skip it and spend a few extra euros eating out. The city has lots of good cafés and restaurants. The rooms are tiny and basic, really only suitable if you’re there to shower and sleep. Wi-Fi only works in the lobby, there’s no fridge for keeping wine, cheese, or ham cold, and air conditioning costs extra.

The staff were nice and the place is not far from the sea, but the accommodation just wasn’t good, and we weren’t satisfied at all. We stayed for seven days and won’t be back. Our room was small, and the shower head stuck out of the wall. There was just a curtain, with no shower base or anything similar, so the whole bathroom flooded when we showered. On the last day we found a cockroach. Disgusting. The food was fair, but salty and not suitable for children. I’m sorry to write such a bad review.
