Camping Sabbiadore

The staff were friendly, and the site is close to town. There’s a cash machine and a washing machine. The camping area was very clean, including the toilets and showers, which were nice to use. The pitches are tight and small for caravans and campers, but big enough for a tent.

There was something for kids every evening, plus a nice playground, and the mobile homes had a pleasant evening atmosphere. The campsite is huge and has more than 70 years of tradition. We were lucky to find an empty spot in the pine forest, while many campers were waiting each day for a pitch. There was tree sap on our roof and bikes, lots of noisy cicadas, and mosquitoes. The site is beside the main road, where some motorbike enthusiasts made noise at night. The shop was handy, and the toilets and showers were okay and cleaned often, though some were broken. I expected a bit more service, like a bar, coffee available inside, or a restaurant. I also expected the forest pitches to cost a little less, but they were almost the same price as the other pitches.

The town centre was beautiful, only about ten minutes away, with good prices on food, ice cream, clothes, and shoes. The staff were very sweet with the youngest kids. But the place disappointed us once we got inside. There were five of us, three adults and two babies, and every night we had to move the kitchen table to fit the cribs, then move them again in the morning to make room to walk around. We hadn't thought about towels or bathroom tissues, so we had to buy everything ourselves, which was fine. Still, I expected a mobile home to have a few basics, like dish soap or a roll of toilet paper. Our neighbours were so loud that it was hard to get the kids to sleep, and we couldn't sleep either. 😑

I do NOT RECOMMEND this camping! If you want to wreck your mood and health, go ahead. The air conditioners are full of mold, with even mushrooms growing in them. Behind the Home are huge piles of feces, stinking while you're trying to eat dinner.
