Hotel Martini

The pool area was nice, bikes were free to use, and breakfast had a very good selection. Staff were polite and helpful, and the room was okay. It’s about a 700-meter walk to the beach, where the hotel has its own sunbed, umbrella, and chair. There are plenty of restaurants nearby as well as a market. Good value for the price.

The hotel looks nice inside and out, but in my opinion the rooms don’t deserve three stars. Ours was small, the shower cabin didn’t work properly, and the power outlet wouldn’t take a wide plug. The TV was tiny, only in Italian, and had no sound. The beds were so hard it felt like sleeping on the floor. Breakfast was great, but they ran out of a lot of food. Twice in two days we had to wait for the things we wanted. The pool was nice, but the water was very cold, so not suitable for babies or little kids. There were maybe ten parking spaces in front of the hotel, not enough, and we spent an hour looking for a spot. Reception communication was also bad. On the first day, one woman said she’d give us a voucher for a day with a deck chair and umbrella. Later, another woman said no because we were only staying two nights and the offer required at least three. We understood the rule, but it was frustrating to have been told we’d get one and to count on it. By then the beach had sold out of chairs and umbrellas, and we hadn’t hurried because we expected the voucher. We were there with our one-year-old baby, so we spent most of our time inside without shade. Disappointing. Greetings.

It’s an easy six-minute walk to the beach, and the rooms were clean and in very good condition. We really enjoyed the restaurant: delicious fish, meat dishes, and vegetarian options too. If you want a meal, there’s no need to waste time looking for somewhere outside the hotel.
